Paluma Rainforest Tour
The Paluma Rainforest Tour is for those looking to escape for the day by immersing themselves in a broad range of activities and enjoyable experiences in North Queensland. The tour is tailored to suit cruise ship passengers docking in Townsville who want to explore the Wet Tropics World Heritage Rainforest of Paluma with locals.
The tour includes: Townsville Port (Quayside Terminal) pick up and drop off; rainforest walks; cascading waterfalls; birdlife; history; the chance encounter with native Australian animals including the cassowary, platypus, echidna and goanna; swim in the crystal clear waters under the heritage-listed stone arch bridge, built by hand in the 1930s; great photo opportunities; and picnic morning tea and lunch.
You will be taken on a personalised small group adventure through the Paluma and Little Crystal Creek region where you can connect with nature and embrace the natural beauty of this Wet Tropics World Heritage Area.
